Disney boss teases future of Avengers after Endgame's ending

Disney boss teases future of Avengers after Endgame's ending

Turns out Endgame wasn't really the end game.
Marvel's Avengers: Endgame marked the last time fans would see the Avengers assembled together, but that doesn't mean we'll no longer see them individually.
Although Endgame marked the end of an era in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Disney big boss Bob Iger has since promised that the Avengers will still have a place in future phases. There are two solo films in the works, after all.
Iger said in a recent investors' call that the list of future Avengers appearances could "go on and on", even moving beyond the upcoming Black Widow and Thor: Love and Thunder.

"In Marvel's case, I'm calling it the post-Avengers world," he explained. "It doesn't mean there aren't films being made with characters from the Avengers.
"In fact, we have Black Widow coming out, in [2020], and a Thor 4 movie in the works, and I can go on and on. We also are mining other characters like Eternals."

If Disney needs any inspiration on how to reintroduce the Avengers to the MCU, we reckon they should give Mark Ruffalo a call.
While discussing Bruce Banner's potential role in Phase 4, the Hulk himself recently suggested: "I'd like to see him hang out with some of the new folks, you know? Maybe be like a guru to some of the new, younger ones."
